Short Biography:

She is a professor at the Department of Sociology at the University of São Paulo (USP). She graduated in Social Sciences in 1999 at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) and obtained a master's degree in Sociology (2002) and doctorate in Social Sciences (2008) at the same institution. Part of his doctoral studies was done at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, Paris, France.

She completed three post-doctorates: one in Sociology at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) between 2008 and 2009 (1 year); one in Political Science at Unicamp, in 2010 (1 year) and a third also in Sociology at the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon between 2012 and 2013 (2 months).

She works on themes related to the situation and actions of workers: crisis and recovery of trade unionism, social classes, productive restructuring, neoliberalism and precarious work.

She published, among other texts, the books: The logistics of precariousness: labor outsourcing at Honda do Brasil, São Paulo: Expressão Popular, 2004 (with 1st reprint in 2009); and Outsourced workers and union struggle, Curitiba: Appris, 2013. She is the editor of Revista Crítica Marxista (São Paulo).
