Short Biography:

He has a PhD in Sociology from the University of São Paulo (2002). He is currently a Professor at the University of São Paulo, a member of the editorial board of Cadernos CERU (USP), a member of the editorial board of Kronos (Revista de História da Ciência) and a member of the editorial board of Tempo Social. He has experience in the field of Sociology. Working mainly on the following themes: social science methodology, Durkheim, scientific explanation, social action, naturalism and causality.
