Short Biography:

PhD in Sociology of Education UFSCar / École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (2004). She has a postdoctoral degree in Sociology from King's College London (2015-16). She has been a visiting professor at EHESS, Paris and Middlesex University, London. She is one of the coordinators of the Research Group on Sociology of Education, Culture and Knowledge (GPSECC). Works at the interface between sociology of elites, education and intellectuals, developing research on academic/scientific elites, elites and the State, academic space, field of Brazilian power, symbolic markets (higher education, knowledge production, Think Tanks institutes, private foundations ). She published, among others, Outline of a Sociology of the Academic Field (2008), and co-organized Vocabulary Bourdieu (2017).
