Short Biography:

He holds a degree in Social Sciences from the Universidade Federal Fluminense (1983), a master's degree in Sociology from the State University of Campinas (1989) and a PhD in Sociology from the University of São Paulo (1997). He is currently a MS-3 professor at the University of São Paulo. He has experience in the area of Sociology, with an emphasis on Sociology of Work, working mainly on the following topics: trade unionism, productive restructuring and work qualification.
