Center for the Study and Research in Sociology of Space and Time
Resulting from the studies and research performed at the Center for the Study and Research in Sociology of Space (NEPSE), created by Fraya Frehse in the Department of Sociology in 2011, and registered with the CNPq Research Groups Directory, the NEPSESTE became operational as of June 2018. It brings together undergraduate and graduate researchers with an interest in the sociological and anthropological analysis of the spatial and temporal dimension of social practices; that is, how actions, relationships, social interactions, and representations materialize themselves both in their simultaneity and succession.
